My first job fresh out of drama school was the lead in a low budget feature film, which I was lucky enough to win some awards for. It was my first time on a set and I was hooked: and so began my love affair with indie film. As an actress I have worked in film, theatre, radio, commercials, and even the odd musical. I also enjoy working behind the camera to get projects that matter into fruition I'm an Associate Producer with The Springhead Film Company, with whom I'm particularly proud of a short film I co-produced called Driftwood (Coup de Coeur winner in Cannes, BAFTA/BIFA longlisted). Refusing to be defined by one career label, I love anything that involves telling stories, grappling with human connection and existence, and creative collaboration. Among my many sidelines, I'm a presentation coach working mainly with TEDx speakers, a secondary school teacher, and a voluntary ambassador for the charity Theatre for a Change. I'm passionate about nurturing the next generation of talent and making the creative industries more diverse and equal.

What I like: I'm a sucker for films that are simply life: filled with drama, comedy, detail and genuine human connection…all beautifully shot. For me, it's about outstanding story-telling whilst broadening and challenging perceptions. Oh, and hopefully it passes the Bechdel Test!
